GPT-3.5 Generates Positive and Negative Reviews Using RAG
yjyuwisely 2024. 9. 3. 07:01Using the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) method, I experimented with GPT-3.5-turbo to generate both positive and negative movie reviews.
RAG enhances the model's ability to produce relevant text by retrieving the most pertinent documents before generating the output.
For example, the negative review generated highlighted issues like 'a movie version of a paint-by-numbers picture' and 'a loud, ugly, irritating movie' to express strong criticism.
The RAG approach demonstrated how combining retrieval methods with the power of GPT-3.5-turbo can create reviews that are contextually accurate and varied in tone.
Positive Review
An incredible film that captivates from start to finish. The storyline is compelling, and the character development is superb. The cinematography is stunning, painting a visual tapestry that draws the audience into every scene. The soundtrack adds another layer of beauty to the experience, perfectly complementing the narrative. It's a masterpiece that will be cherished for generations, showcasing the director's unique vision and the actors' remarkable performances. A must-watch for anyone who appreciates cinematic art.

Negative Reviews
The movie is a loud, ugly, irritating experience where none of its satirical salvos hit a discernible target. It's nothing more than a paint-by-numbers picture — predictable and lacking any originality, and it is difficult to consider it a work of art. While it features a brilliant performance by Nicholson, the film itself is an agonizing bore except for the rare moments when the fantastic Kathy Bates turns up. Unfortunately, even Liotta's character is put in an impossible spot, with his deceptions ultimately undoing both his character and the believability of the entire scenario.
A long-winded and stagy session of romantic contrivances that fails to gel into the shrewd feminist fairy tale it aspired to be, the film is simply lame and unnecessary. It's two-fifths of a satisfying movie experience at best, leaving the audience with only so much baked cardboard to chew through. In summary, it is a film that tries the patience of even the most dedicated movie critic.

its one of the most honest films ever made about hollywood
it is a film that will have people walking out halfway through will encourage others to stand up and applaud and will undoubtedly leave both camps engaged in a ferocious debate for years to come
on its own cinematic terms it successfully showcases the passions of both the director and novelist byatt
light silly photographed with colour and depth and rather a good time
prays film works well and will appeal even to those who arent too familiar with turntablism
troubling and powerful
good movie good actress but if you expect light romantic comedy good gosh will you be shocked
